Wa: How the host and guest enjoy tea together in harmony
For matcha tea, we recommend using 1-2 g of matcha for 45-90ml of water. For matcha latte, We recommend 3-4g of matcha.
To ensure there is no clump, gently sieve your matcha into the bowl.
Apply 80c degree water to your bowl. You may not have a thermometer on hand, so just wait for 1 minute or two after the water has boiled.
Make sure all the powder is covered by the water then whisk your matcha in an M or W shape motion. Do this quickly for about 30 seconds, then slow down the whisking.
Purity expressed for the cleaning the tools and caring for the tea
If you want to drink your matcha the most traditional way, then try drinking it straight from the bowl. You can also get bowls with a spout for you to pour out into a cup.
If drinking as a latte, combine with warm steamed milk or pour over iced milk
After each use make sure to clean the tea tools carefully with just warm water. Store your matcha in an opaque container away from light, heat or air to keep your matcha green and fresh.
Enjoy your matcha while it's fresh. Enjoy as your private matcha moment or enjoy with a loved one
