We are Nicha and Francis - co-founders of Haru Matcha. We started Haru because we love matcha but we think there is so much to be learned about its origin, cultivation, history and philosophy. Having practised tea ceremony in Japan and Thailand, we knew that matcha has so much to offer. That is why we started conducting matcha tasting experiences, which we have been holding for the past 2 years and still hold today! We have absolutely loved speaking about the variety, depth and nuance of matcha and tea ceremony with you all.
I'm not a big Hojicha drinker, so I was pleasantly surprised by this when I tasted it. The flavour is bold, but very smooth and warming. Since receiving my pack, I've been having it daily and have really enjoyed this as an evening drink (as I tend to drink Matcha only in the early part of the day). Really pleased with it.

Best matcha I have tried in the UK. It tastes good and umami. The smell is nutty and aromatic that I can smell it while whisking matcha. Really recommended
