Kasumi meaning "mist" takes its name from the smoky and nutty tasting profile of this matcha where the strong Yame tea leaves are roasted at a high temperature.
Kasumi works well in matcha lattes because its bold flavour cuts through the milk effectively, it can also be drunk on its own Usucha (thin tea).
